The Tolman’s Auto-Tech Group was founded in 1983. We have had three locations since. Our first building was in a pole barn located on a friend’s farm. We moved after 1 ½ years to a building at 6660 Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale with 4 bays. We had enjoyed a steady growth so in 2001 we contracted for the construction of a state of the art repair facility and moved in during March of 2002.

We are now located at 5455 Auto Court in Allendale – roughly 200 yards north of Lake Michigan Drive. We share facilities with Allendale Auto Supply who provides us with quality parts and rapid delivery. Trans Service Plus (www.transserviceplusinc.com) is also located in the facility.

Our new facility has over 15,000 square feet of usable floor space that dramatically increases our ability to serve your repair needs. We have 20 bays, 16 bays have lifts, which makes us West Michigan’s largest, privately owned automotive repair business. We have lifts for general auto repair, transmission diagnosis and repair, electrical and computer diagnosis and repair, computerized wheel alignments, exhaust systems, complete oil changes and more.

You will be pleased to know that we have added on-demand oil change and lubrication service. No more waiting or scheduling of appointments to have your automobile serviced. Drive in at any time and have your oil changed at our dedicated servicing bays, while you wait.

We are also able to rotate and balance tires during your lubrication session, which will give you greater payback on your tire investment. It has been proven that scheduled rotation and balancing will extend the life of your tires, so take advantage of our new capability. The new building gives us the room to inventory a full range of tires as well, which adds to your convenience.

Tolman’s Auto-Tech employees six full time technicians, State and ASE certified, plus two in the Full Service Lube and Tire department and full time Service Writer and a Receptionist/Secretary.
