Mark Tolman

As President and Founder of Tolmans Auto-Tech, Mark oversees the technical side of the business, including technical training, equipment evaluations and purchases, and diagnostics. Mark started this business January of 1983 in a pole barn with two stalls. He moved the business to Allendale in the building next to the Allendale Township. For 15 years the business grew, but the building did not. In 2002, he was fortunate to build the current location with 20 bays and employ new technicians. Mark and his wife, Jill, have three children and live in Allendale. Marks hobbies include, big lake fishing, raising steers, and sports.
Jill has been doing the bookkeeping since Tolmans Auto-Tech opened in 1983.

Tracey Ciluffo
Tracey joined Tolmans Auto-Tech in November 2005. She serves as our Administrative Assistant, answering phone, and working with accounts receivable and accounts payable. She lives in Cedar Springs, has three children and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include watching football and hockey. She is a great asset and a friendly face in the office.

Glenn joined Tolmans Auto-Tech in March 2002 with the opening of the new Tolmans Auto-Tech facility. He is our specialist in Diesel engines and performs most of our wheel alignments as well. Glenn has been State certified for 10 years and ASE certified for 6 years. He resides in Robinson Township. In his spare time, he enjoys truck pulling.

Brent Doane

Brent joined Tolmans Auto-Tech with the opening of the new facility in March 2002. He has been an Automotive Technician since 1991. Brent is a resident of Coopersville and is married with one daughter. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and horse showing with his daughter.

Tim came to work for Tolmans Auto-Tech in September of 2004. He resides in Conklin, is married with three children. Tim enjoys hunting, fishing, playing the drums, music and woodworking in his spare time.

Mark Bailey

Mark has been with our company since April 2000. He started out as our Clean-up Technician and has since received his Associates Degree taking an Automotive Technology Course and graduating from Grand Rapids Community College. Prior to that, he had completed 2 years at the Career Tech Center during High School for automotive repair. Mark has recently became ASE Certified. He is excited to learn new technologies and continues with his education with upcoming automotive classes.

Ross Stevens
Ross has been working with Tolmans Auto-Tech since 1995. He started out part-time while going to GVSU for business and became full time January 1999. When Tolmans Auto-Tech moved into the new facility, March 2002, Ross became the Service Writer/Advisor. Ross is married and has two little girls. He has lived in Allendale all of his life. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his girls, camping, hunting, and anything with a lot of horsepower. Ryan Kooiman

Ryan came to Tolmans Auto-Tech in April of 2002 with 13 years of experience. He is Chairman of SAE West Michigan Chapter, Founder of West Michigan Auto Repair Society and for 2006 BP Amoco Ultimate Golden Mechanic. Ryan host weekly segments on Car & Driver Radio, Road & Truck Speed Radio with both heard on XM Satellite Channel 166. He is a contributing writer to several magazines, newspapers, and training manuals. Ryan lives in Allendale, married with two children and is a member of Remembrance Reformed Church.

Max Garno
Max joined the team at Tolmans Auto-Tech April 2005. He works fulltime in our Full Service Oil Change and Tire department. He lives in Allendale, enjoys being a musician, playing drums, and is currently learning how to play the electric & bass guitar.
